I said a bad game :p Jak X was probably the worst game they have made, but it was still pretty good ^^ (76 on meta i think).

I don't know, even with the meta, I found it pretty bad xD Not a game I would like to replay one day.
Zekkyou said: Valve definitely need to be considered for the title. It's not flawless, but 15 years later and they are still hitting the same quality ^^ Most notable: Edit: Thinking about it, Naughty Dog definatly need to be considerd too, they seem incapable of making bad games.
Although they need 17 years to come close to Rare's 7 years. I don't think any company has had a game that was so impactful on the industry as DKC was, it is the only game ever released that literally changed the fortunes of an entire generation past the midway point. Of course, Rare's other titles did contribute heavily, and in the end, Nintendo went from 1/3rd of the industry sales in 1993, to utter dominance from late 94, and taking the lead in 95, and 96.
I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

Who need Jak X having this?

Um so are we comparing development teams or an entire company as Ive seen listed things like Capcom or Squaresoft and not just a specific dev team from the company. Its a lot easier to put out more games when you have like 5+ dev teams
AZWification said: Last game they made that was worth a damn was Kameo in 2005 I believe.. Almost a decade without a good Rare game... Sad.. :(
Viva Pinata wants a word with you :p
But yes, Rare were on fire between 1994 and 2001 but I think SEGA had a better run when you include Arcade games.
However we need to remember, RARE is but 1 studio. Nintendo and SEGA both had multiple teams all working on games simultaneously. RARE compared with far fewer resources.
Really good, those 3 uncharteds and the last of us from Naughty Dog were very impressive as well
RolStoppable said: Yes, Nintendo's inhouse developers (EAD and R&D groups) had a better run during the same timeframe. 1994: Super Metroid 1995: Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island 1996: Super Mario 64, Wave Race 64, Mario Kart 64 1997: Star Fox 64 1998: F-Zero X, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 1999: 2000: The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 2001: Paper Mario, Luigi's Mansion, Pikmin List is incomplete, but you get the idea.
Out of quick memory, 1080 snowboarding was from the same team as Wave Race.

It corrupted my save data, so I have a personal grudge against it.
