Depending on how Smash and MK will do. If big name titles like those cant save the Wii U than nothing will.,

What do you define as a hit in this scenario?
To somebody who asked a few posts back, point of no return means when there is literally nothing left that will lift WiiU to 'acceptable?' levels (above 5m+ per year?).
Considering the fact that Mario Kart 8 is already a best seller for gamestop in the U.S, I am pretty happy. I think the Wii U is finally starting to branch out!

How is it a best seller when it isn't even out yet?
My answer to the OP:
The point of no return for the Wii U is if sales dip to <100k after SSB and MK8 come out.
PS3, PS4, PSV, Wii U, 3DS + 3DS XL Owner.

I really hate those Fanboy Threads!!! People like you thought the Nintendo 3DS will fail and look where it is now!!! The Nintendo Wii U is only one year old just wait and see. If the Nintendo Wii U is not a success in 3-4 years than you can start making threads like this if you want, but until then you should be more worried about the PlayStation Vita because the Nintendo Wii U sales are going up because of the great games which where released in the last 2 months!!!

2014 as a whole will be a big sign.
As I said before, why would anyone expect any better from Wii U sales now? It has 3 mainstream big releases so far. 2 are Mario platformers & the other is a Zelda remake. (From the GC at that)
Sales will surely pick up once more big releases are out right? (If not...)

Lol take a break and look back at your comment. Why bring in Vita in to a Wii U conversation? All the OP asked was what's the point of not return for WiiU. It isn't even a doom thread. It's more of a discussion about how well the WiiU needs to do to stay in the game.
