This is a very good idea for a thread, since I usually buy a modest amount of videogames per year, it's nice to have a place to keep track of them.

For a moment just now I was hopeful that I would be spending significantly less money on video games this year than I spent last year. Then I remembered that X is coming and I'll have to buy a Wii U. Dammit.

Count me in. I bought games right up until New Year's Eve and I put $20 in my Nintendo account already. This should be a sobering experience.

and maybe Thief, but that will depend on reviews

Those are my purchases for 2014 at the moment, everything else is missing a release dates or I am not interested my backlog is just too big.
