Like I said, GOTY are rarely innovative. I would break down uncharted 2 (A game I absolutely love) , but it would be like feeding fire with fire. As for Call of Duty, it really isn't innovative since MW, people might say it is, but it really just refinement, taking ideas that work in other games and implementing it in the game.

well, just the very comment about NS3W literally being the very first 4 player coop (3D)-platformer ever made kinda prove my point (at least with this guy)

I've never said all N-fans are this way, but yeah, there is a lot of consumer of Nintendo products (N-fans for short) completely unaware of what competition does, third's perfomance on Nintendo consoles proves it. I never tried to be offensive with this statement

SM3DW was great - but hardly GOTY. My reason being it lacked innovation. It was fun ! But so many games this year tried something new, but thats just my opinion.

What is it with people who accuse other users of being "butthurt" instead of having a proper discussion? Seeing members with an actually open mind is getting less and less frequent lately. People who don't agree with SM3DW being GOTY have every right to express their disagreement. Or am I missing something?

Also, why would anyone be butthurt when TLOU is winning comfortably the GOTY awards? Even in term of sales (or should I follow the trend and call the "sells"), last time I checked, it wasn't doing bad at all.

Anyway, haven't played either, so no idea how good they are. My game of the year last year was Jouney and when people thought it wasn't worth a GOTY award, I don't recall anyone (or myself) calling them "butthurt".

I am disappointed, VGC, really disappointed.

I didn't say it was but comparing it to a game that plays like a 2d game would be wrong since 3DWorls plays in a 3D field while LBP plays in a 2D perspective with 3D

when i can go left and right, up and down, in the front and in the back it's a 3D field.
