To be fair though, when was the last time you played an actual innovative good CoD? For me, it was Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. While on the other hand, the last time I played a good innovative Mario game was Super Mario 3D World, which came out like, a little longer than a month ago. So I wouldn't consider it a bad thing to say the least.


Well, WaW added the zombies mode, MW2 Spec Ops missions, both ntable new modes.  What Black Ops 2 did with zombies and the campaign was pretty awesome, the change to MP was pretty great too.

Not sure what is so innovative about 3DW than what BOII did.

Well, WaW added the zombies mode, MW2 Spec Ops missions, both ntable new modes.  What Black Ops 2 did with zombies and the campaign was pretty awesome, the change to MP was pretty great too.

Not sure what is so innovative about 3DW than what BOII did.

Why co-op is a new thing to you is beyond me since I sure as hell wouldn't call co-op Mario being a thing of innovation. What BOII did right was the revamp and design of their MP maps with better balanced weapons all around, rebalance =/= innovation. I always thought you somewhat gamed on PC too and you'd know that those zombie modes were spawned from old FPS mods but I guess you know less than I thought. o_O;

Did you finish SM3DW yet? I mean like all unlocked level status, the game will more than speak for itself without me having to list anything if you just play it to complete finish. I'm sure as hell not going to spoil it for you.

Think that's crazy? ALBW got GOTY from GameSpot and Polygon. My mind was blown.

Well I know he feels like he got burned by the Wii but a guy in his 40s would definitely have a friend or family with a Wii U so I don't see it being a problem for him to get access to it. At least I think he's in his 40s, I could be wrong.

No issue with it, from a pure gaming perspective hard to deny what Nintendo pulled off to keep being the pinnacle of plat forming.

I still go with The Last of Us, but I understand the choice.

Let me get this straight, r u implying that whatever magazine that didnt choose SM3W as the best game of the year were BS?  tsk this is why i dislike N-fans above xbox or ps fans. Seriously its both annoying and depressing.

 

About the game itself. Yes, SM3W its wonderful withouth a doubt one of my favorites games of 2013, and by far the best 8th gen game to date.
