I don't know why but I found this typo absolutely hilarious
Daaaaaamn. Some of you guy's lists. Let me see what I did in 2013. I purposely tried to tone it down this year but somewhere in the last few month, I lost my damn mind. Here we go:
In no particular order--
3DS
I think there's something wrong with me. I haven't bothered to download any of the free Playstation Plus titles, despite having Playstation Plus. I do love a good discount, though.
Same with Games for Gold. I probably own everything they could offer but the only one I've actually downloaded was Crackdown...and I didn't even play it.
Got & Finished:
- Fatal Frame 4
- Need for Speed Most Wanted U
- Bioshock Infinite
- Nano Assault Neo
- Call of Duty Ghosts
- Super Mario 3D World
Completed but didn't buy:
- Pikmin 3
- The Last of Us
Metal Gear Rising - good game, awesome soundtrack, way too short but a lot of replayability.
God of War Ascension - disappointed me, the single player campaign felt uninspired and it´s clear it suffered due to the focus on multiplayer, which is something I really don´t care about in a GOW game.
Dead Space 3 - I prefer Dead Space 1 and 2, but thought it was still an ok game, didn´t like the changes to the ammo and sometimes there were way too many monsters coming in waves. If there´s ever a new DS game, it has to be more like the original.
The Last of Us - very good game, but don´t share the opinion it´s some kind of rare, special gem.At launch much of the gaming media was treating it like it was the best thing to be released in several years.Like I said, I liked it, but imo, the praise was taken a bit too far.
GTA V - the most fun I´ve had with a GTA game since Vice City, far superior to GTA IV.
TW101 - almost gave up on it, the entry barrier is a bitch, and it´s very confusing at first, but once it all 'clicked'..it´s been (as in, haven´t finished it yet) one hell of a fun ride, a reminder (along with MGR) Platinum truly excels at the core mechanics of an action game.
Mario 3D World - Another great Mario platformer.I admit I wanted something more like SM64/Galaxy, but it´s still a very polished, good game.

Haven't even started GTAV yet. It's still in its original wrapper. Glad to hear it's much better than GTA4. That game bored me to death near the end.
Also, I heard so much negative about God of War Ascension that I didn't even buy it when it was selling for $10 on the PSN last week. Gears of War Judgement was a huge disappointment for me so I couldn't deal with Krato letting me down, too. The shock would have killed me.
I'm still waiting on The Last of Us to grab me, too. I probably have to start the whole game over because I haven't played it in maybe a month, now.

GTA IV bored me too, but GTA V really hooked me.Everything feels so much better..the settings, the characters, the missions.
Both God of War and Gears of War can definitely use some time in the fridge.I think the developers (of God of War) are working on a new IP, so perhaps it will be in the fridge for awhile, though let´s see if Sony resists the temptation to release a GOW for the PS4.Personally, I´m tired of Kratos and the Greek mythology the game is based on.If they make another action game, then let it be another character, another mythos.
