and that's my experience. I used to have a keyboard. Never had a mouse (if anything supports it).

Wii U is great for streaming porn, you can quickly close the curtains on the tv with the X button and carry on watching it on the gamepad.....er thats what my friend told me anyway...honest ;)

 

Haha yes! And the gamepad also have a TV remote button for you to turn off the TV XD

I'm using the wii u gamepad right now for browsing and have been for a while since my laptop died. It's a great substitute.

The Wii was the only console I've spent much time browsing the internet. Smartphones are hard to beat as far as convenience and ease of use go.

I think that console browser usage share will increase but stay miniscule as more people discover they can use the web effectively from their console. I suspect it has been a little-known feature. Also the broswers are getting better as the generations go by, unsurprisingly.

I haven't used Xbox browsing enough to comment on it but I find it hard to believe the experience there could be better than on the WiiU.

PS3 browser, to me, was good in theory but always seemed cumbersome and slow. Haven't used PS4 browser enough to comment.

WiiU browser seems like the overall favorite in this thread and my experience echoes that.

3DS and PSP browsers ... function. If you have no other way to use the web they will do the job but that's all you can say for them IMO. I forgot DSi even had one.

3DS was always slow and lacking basic features, but according to this survey ( https://html5test.com/results/other.html ) the N3DS is as good as Wii U, which is quite good, from my personal experience.
Anyone has personal experience of the N3DS browser?

NN3DS didn't compare to the WiiU browser. Too many moments where it didn't have enough memory to load a page, couldn't play video, if what have you. It's actually pretty weak.

I used internet browser on a ps3 a bit,it was a piece of shit.
Psp browsing was also a nightmare.
Ps4 experience is alright but I prefer a pc or a phone to browse the web.

I'll put it like this.
There was a porn movie that I really wanted to watch but it wouldn't play on my WiiU. It WOULD run on my PS4 and XBO. Rather than bother with those consoles, I just found another that would run on WiiU. It's easily the best on the market. The interface is just too user friendly. It's not as call capable as it used to be, though.

Oh, I also found out how to make videos play on WiiU that wouldn't play before.
