its the lack of speed and add-ons for the browser that make me not want to use it, in addition to the fact that if im playing a game I cant go on the internet at the same time anyway.
I'm not sure if IE on xbox is the proper thing but sony atleast should get chrome or firefox and allow all the add-ons.

And I just read about the PS4 browser, it doesnt even have a flash plug-in....whose seriously going to use it??

tbh I think they just threw in a browser for the sake of advertising it as a feature, anyone with a PC (I think thats pretty much everyone who has a console) wouldnt even consider it.

The novelty of browsing on console will probably wear off again. Reading pages off a tv screen is not great. I think it will mostly be used for game guides and porn.

Gamepad browing is not for me either, I like my 1080p laptop screen with 20 tabs open.

I was surprised at how impressive the Vita browser is, both speed and user interface. The Ps3 browser kind of sucks... But it's good for playing videos (norp)

Haven't tried Nintendo's browsers.

I would love to use my Vita browser more, but when I'm not on my laptop, my Iphone 5's browser is just a little better in almost everyway.

Wii U browser is excellent and i use it for about 95% of my browsing. In fact Wii U is my main entertainment hub, i go from a game to internet browser to Miiverse and movie streaming all via my wonderful gamepad.

I don't have a Wii U but I've heard great things about it's browser. Seems like a feature that is literally tailor made for the Gamepad.

What's wrong with the 3ds one? Is it a matter of power/speed or usability?

Xbox 360 browser was better than PS3's (took em long enough to release one, dammit!) and with Smart Glass it was easy to navigate. Got a bit clunky for me, though.
Wii U browser is powerful and intuitive. I use it as readily as my laptop.
DSi/3DS browser is garbage.
Vita Browser is pretty capable.

and that's my experience. I used to have a keyboard. Never had a mouse (if anything supports it).

Wii U is great for streaming porn, you can quickly close the curtains on the tv with the X button and carry on watching it on the gamepad.....er thats what my friend told me anyway...honest ;)

I've only used PSP's brower, it looks garbage now, but at the time it launched it was heavenly to have a browser on a handheld. Nowadays, smartphones are where I browse most after laptop. Consoles are just for games now.
