the only reason to pick CoD over BF is because of the split screen multiplayer online.

Or, in my case, a better campaign and pointer controls. ;)

CoD's campaign sucks ass. (so does BF's), atleast thats what i been told. but either way, buying either game for its campaign is a bad choice

I bought Modern Warfare, World at War, Modern Warfare 3, and Ghosts for the campaigns, and I don't regret it. :)

Heck, only reason I didn't buy Black Ops II as well was cos I didn't have a Wii U at the time, and I played through it three times once my roommate got a Wii U and the game.

gaming is SO much better when its at the expense of others.

We shared; I let him play my copies of Skyward Sword and Metroid Prime 3. :)

The Battlefield problems can be fixed with a patch.

Ghosts is just a shitty game.

CoD and BF are essentially the same in terms of controls and gunplay, BF just focuses more on big map vehicle battles and CoD focuses on close gun on gun combat on smaller maps.

Ah not really, CoD is much more of an arcade shooter than Battlefield. In battlefield, there is weight behind your movements, recoil in guns and supression effects etc. CoD is much faster paced, battlefield is not.

Have you played either one?

@Op - Battlefield 4 is fine now and Dice is still fixing stuff.  The thing is, unless you have friends on BF it can be annoying at times without them.  Bad teams can be frustrating when it is a team game.

So if you dont have friends with you Id recommend CoD since it is something you can just pickup and enjoy.

i love FPS games. (halo looks really cool for the record). im not a BF fan, but my brother got BF4 and i just recently got CoD. having played both a few hours its easy to tell which one is better, and thats BF (even though i am not a fan, its still good fun!) on the other hand, CoD is really fun for playing with a friend/sibling/lover/stalker. but thats about it for CoD, havent even played it by my self yet, dont think i will either.
