If Peter Molyneux isn't behind it, I'm not buying it.

He is gone.  This also might be why Lionhead took a different approach to Fable Legends as Peter seemed to really bring that casual style to his games.

Anyways it is sounding really good.  Wasnt expecting to say that but def ready to see some more now :)

I dunno, Molyneux brings something to every game that he directs. He may be over ambitious and Fable III was a bit of a train wreck, but I feel that he really does bring somethinng special to his games, especially games like Black and White and Fable II.

I cant speak for everybody else but I didnt like Fable 2 or 3.  Fable 2 was good but not great and Fable 3 was averae.

I think theyre good games dont get me wrong, but he makes his games way too easy.  He is ambitious but he doesnt seem to deliver his promises either.

I never played Black and White so i cant speak about that game.

This time it sounds like theyre making what they want, and making it a strong rpg that is dark but also charming.

I can see past most of the flaws in the Fable series more than most people I think xD Apart from III which I really didn't like.

They are very easy but I suck at games so I guess that's a plus.

Black and White is a really good game if you can get around a few problems, it didn't live up to it's potential though.

I beat Fable III without even dying lol Everybody talks about Black and White with a lot of praise.

Im curious to see what Lionhead's 2nd game is that theyre working on as well.  Very curious if it will be their first new ip since the split with Peter.

I got that achievement too :3

Lionhead haven't really been on my radar as of late, so I didn't even know they were making a new game xD

9. Is the game always-online?

I don't know the answer to that. The fact that we want to do a lot of things, a lot of systems on a servers, characters on a server... If it's online we can monitor you and make sure you don't edit your character file, or do something nasty there.

Because if you're playing single player, all your accomplishments in the game are going to eventually matter if you're playing against a villain player, or alongside other heroes. If you've somehow cheated your way to victory... so that's a concern for us. If you're somehow cheating, online is way for us to track it, because your performance can be measured in the Xbox Live cloud.

So the answer is yes. Then forget this game. I've learned my lesson with Simcity and Diablo III.

worse yet that reasoning is complete and utter bullshit.

I know. Can't they just check your files before you go online? Why must you be connected %100 of the time?

This sounds pretty good on paper, but I will still need to see it in action before I can get really excited. I'm glad to hear that there is going to be a good bit of character customization, as well as plenty of side-quests.

I'm hoping that there will be some game modes outside of the 4 heroes vs. 1 villain formula that they have discussed so far.

Thats probably the best and most promising thing about the Fable franchise. Maybe it might live up to being a proper RPG now.

Judging from the console version of Diablo 3, they dropped the always online component and the game works well for the most part online. However you tend to find that if you play in random games others will use modified/duplicated items and it can diminish the experience. Super rare items are worthless because people give away duplicates to everyone, the last game I played in Diablo 3 on Inferno someone was one-shotting the bosses, when I was struggling to even make it to a boss on my own.

Whilst the easiest way to fix this would be to separate the single-player and multi-player experiences, but from what I heard the game was being designed with co-op in mind.
