Awesome numbers, imagine if there was more stock. Also Wii U did amazing in Japan, congrats.

Yeah, it's good. But it's one week you see, a week where the system got a load of new stock to fill some backdated demand, and where it launched in a good few new countries.

However, the true test will be in the new year. When holiday sales have disappeared for all systems, and when PS4 stock is plentiful. Then we shall see which system really has the demand. It does look like the PS4 though, In Europe at least.

So cherrypicking some regions is more accurate than comparing global sales?

Why not ditch the Japan numbers too, until PS4 + XBO compete in this region? 

It seems after Nintendo (3DS+Wii U) and PSV, we will have tons of X1 doomed treads coming soon.

While Sony has the headstart, Microsoft has with Titanfall and Halo(and maybe some Gears) enough to round up all the dudebros. Also they definitely have the power and money to turn things around when they see Sony is getting too far ahead. It won't be an easy race for either of the two.

What's up with the 3DS comparisons?
Also the XB1 is not sold in all the same countries as PS4 and it is way more expensive. Taking that into consideration then the XB1 is doing well in the states.
Outside the USA and XB1 is pretty much dead until a price cut is in place. This is going to a hard gen for Microsoft outside the USA.

one is a console that have been our for only a month and every "hardcore" Sony fan wants one ( there are millions of them, aka early buy)

the other is a console that have been out for a year and unlike "hardcore" Sony fans Nintendo ones don't buy it right away, they buy it when the big heavy hitters(games) are released or when they find it have enough good games.
