did you consider the number of owners of each console? i think the ps3 has better chances of getting higher sales

It'll sell appropriately for an HD remake. Plus it's Final Fantasy, so there is that.

Already considered that.  Having a high install base doesn't necessarily mean that sales are going to be higher.  Japanese are more handheld focused.   

Persona 4 launched on the PS2 near the very end of its life, well, technically not the very end, but two years after the PS3 launched.  Week one sales of Persona 4 on the PS2 are also 200,000 and PS2 had way more sales than the PS3 does even now.

Considering the Vita had 200,000 Persona 4 The Golden sales a year ago, and Final Fantasy 10 is more popular, it'll hit 400,000 atleast.

The trophy list is amazing.

Prediction: This will outsell LR: FFXIII WW.

The only Final  Fantasy 13 game with good gameplay(maybe, I haven't played it yet but looks great) and it'll sell the worst.  Sad.

I'm not sure to be honest. Remakes don't tend to sell as well in Japan as they do in the west. I actually think they'll sell far better outside of Japan.

point taken. hope it sells well then. So that Final Fantasy 12 Remaster will be greenlit...i hope :D
