Oh well, I guess I'll trade Resistance 2 in. If they're killing the 8 player co-op mode there's no point in keeping it since I found the single player was absolutely garbage.

Also, that's a terrible, terrible move with Gran Turismo 5. Like really, surprisingly bad. I expect Sony to reverse that decision at some point.

That reminds me, I need to finish Dragon's Dogma soon. I already missed out on the only good part of WKC by waiting too long to finish it.

Big fuck you to Resistance fans. Fall of Man was my first PS3 and MP game I played. It's an old game but it's a classic and one of the best MP games ever. Shame I won't be able to go back and play it.

Shutting down online for GT5, to date the best PS3 1st party seller, must be one of the dumbest thing Sony could do. Surely it's the dumbest decision taken this year.

It can be the only sensible explanation, but it's still the dumbest possible way to achieve it. Pissing off the user base of what will most probably be the best seller of the series for 7th gen, and possibly the lifetime best PS3 1st party seller is not good marketing.
The first main GT title of each gen has always sold better than the second, there's nothing wrong about it, why ruining a winning formula?

If only MAG as a botzone game mode so you can play the multiplayer OFFLINE whenever you want like the Killzone games, yeah sure, it doesn't feel the same, but it's still better than not being able to play the game ever again. Also, my moral with this post is that NEVER, EVER BUY online-only game!

I'm pretty sure you played seasonal events which actually only work when the game is online once they shut down the server they will be gone.
