Around the Network

Americans are still cheapskates, I've downloaded pixeljunk monsters, and it is just so fun, even if it is hard

Something from Japan:
Biohazard 2 (Resident Evil 2) was the best selling (PS One Classic) game last week on the JP PSN.

Do you know how many units they have sold. Monsters being number 1 is good, because it is such a good game, but if that means it only sold like 500 copies thats not so good.

@ tombi, Sony have announced how many people have bought games in the past, but one indication is the leaderboards, I can't remember the total, but I know there are tens of thousands, probably a couple of hundred thousand

Around the Network

We, Americans, certainly love our stuff cheap, cheap, cheap.

Currently playing on PS3: God of War III

Currently playing on Xbox360: Final Fantasy XIII

8 million downloads in January, 6.6 million in December. 52 million downloads in all. This is for US PSN accounts only.

well, I guess a big factor why US downloads are in favor for free things is, that many europeans and people from other regions got an american acc. and grab demos/videos from the american store

If there are 8 million downloads on the US Store in January, Im guessing roughly 2 million a week. So the top ten titles has to be in the 100sk.

And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."
