You cannot change one's beliefs through bribes. Bringing fourth arguments that contradicts someone's beliefs is the only way to change their mind, assuming he or she is a critical thinker.

You replied to the thread, so you obviously have an opinion, which from what you've posted I assume is something along the lines of 'Jesus is a bunch of BS' or something like that. You're allowed to have that belief. But you're also smart enough to know that posting something like that would start a flame war. But if you didn't want to start anything, you wouldn't have posted anything to begin with. By saying, "I'm not gonna say how sad this whole thing is," you pretty much did just that. You contradict yourself.

I make a decent amount of money, I don't believe in jesus (I'm not an atheist), but no, I wouldn't give up anything I believe in for any sum of money.

Plenty of people believe in Jesus but not that non-believers go to hell. There is quite a lot of proof he existed, it's the "i am the son of god, i'ma save yo bitches" bit that's a bit up in the air. Heck, i myself am open to the idea of god (i don't personally believe in him, but i think it's perfectly possible for such a thing to exist), but i think the idea of heaven and hell are complete rubbish. At least by the definition the bible uses anyway.
Though according to the bible pretty much all of us are going to hell either way :P

Well, when I say 'believe in' I mean the whole salvation thing, not believe in as believing in his existance. Lol,Yes there's ample proof he existed.
