Plenty of people believe in Jesus but not that non-believers go to hell. There is quite a lot of proof he existed, it's the "i am the son of god, i'ma save yo bitches" bit that's a bit up in the air. Heck, i myself am open to the idea of god (i don't personally believe in him, but i think it's perfectly possible for such a thing to exist), but i think the idea of heaven and hell are complete rubbish. At least by the definition the bible uses anyway.
Though according to the bible pretty much all of us are going to hell either way :P
