Microsoft can't ship as many. PS4 production started earlier and PS4 exists in about 3X as many countries. It is also 100 dollars more expensive. A PS4 is 399 and a Xbox One is 499. Microsoft is really killing sony in revenue

The x1 is supposed to be even or a slight profit isnt it?  

And I actually agree with toastboy on this one, IF the x1 was the same price, released in all the same markets and was able to match Sony's production levels.  I would expect them to be even at this point.  

As far as multimedia, I agree that it is a must.  However, they are all pretty equal in multimedia capabilities at this point, so not sure what the point of this thread is...

Both system are said to make a profit but certain analyst dispute this claim. 

Maybe if Xbox one was the same price it would help but as it stands ps4 is outselling xb1 in all the major territories that both are released.

As for matching production of the PS4 it is pointless as Xbox ones are a available in European markets right now because demand is not that great. He'll, I can order xbox one right now from amazon uk because they are readily available but no PS4s. Production level is not a problem over here. Xbox one is more in demand in the US so rather than have them sitting around in Europe MS should have placed more in the US.
