Oh, before I get your hopes up too high--My free games were mostly 8-Bit Nes titles or Gameboy games!  I got Majora's Mask for N64, too.  They have a few more current games available but I've just been saving my coins for whatever big item they spring on us whenever I'm out of coins.

I never play long enough for the battery to impact me but I agree could be better.

The UI could use an overall. make it as slick as VITA. By slick I mean work quicker and add some more features not look the same.

Other than that the machine has some fantastic games. This is the first time I have enjoyed handheld gaming more then console gaming. However I still prefer kicking back on the couch playing on a big TV, so hoping for some great games on Wii U, otherwise PS4 will have most my time haha.

Yeah, I'll probably also buy a Wii U once there are more games out and hopefully a pricecut. That or a Metroid game. :)

Yikes, I only now noticed I typed 3D World instead of 3D Land. Yeah, 3D World looks amazing, but I sadly don't have a Wii U yet. Most likely after I finish my Master Degree at Uni and get a job. 

My Nintendo ID is soulripper30. Silly I know, but it's a name I used for an MMORPG I used to play, so it's easy to remember for me. 

And since you mentioned Majora's Mask in another post, I really hope they do a remake for it on the 3DS. I like distubing games, but never got the chance to play it. I have a demo of it on a Gamecube collecter edition(which also includes Ocarina of Time, but I only played it for an hour once.). Hence why my sig says I'm playing Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask. It's 4 years old and haven't changed it yet lol.

Fire Emblem looks interesting, but not sure I'd like it. The only RPGs I've played are Pokémon games. I do like the idea of characters dying and not coming back after the battle.

Question to 3d people. Do you guys play all the game with 3d on or just some sections. The little experience i've had with the system, i just put it on but then turned it off after a few minutes. Games i tried were 3D Land, MK7 & Mario & Luigi.

I played The Legend of Zelda: a Link Between Worlds always with the 3D turned on. It just looked so much better than when it was turned off. I'm also playing 3D Land with the 3D turned on. It's good, but less impressive than ALBW. 

I wouldn't mind a Metroid on the 3DS as long as they also make one for the Wii U. I want to see Metroid in HD finally! You know a top down Metroid à la Zelda doesn't seem like such a bad idea now. It would need a different art style though, one that looks more futuristic.

Make sure you have downloaded the latest system update. After that make your self a Nintendo ID if you haven't already. You can pair this Nintendo ID with your Club Nintendo account(which you also need). 

After that you need to register your 3DS and one of 15 games. Pokémon X&Y and ALBW are amongst these 15 games, I don't know the other ones. 

You register the games on your Club Nintendo account. You also need to complete a couple of surveys, but that's no big deal. After all is said and done they'll give you an activation code to download Super Mario 3D Land for free. You need to activate this code on the Nintendo Eshop. The download only took about 15 minutes for me, I was surprised of the speed. 

Not a lot of people seem to know this apparently. In my country there are like 4-5 Nintendo ads per advertisement block. It's ridiculous, I've seen plenty of ads for Mario Kart 7, this special campaign for a free Super Mario 3D Land, Pokémon X&Y, Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon and Super Mario 3D World. I've barely seen any Playstation and XBOX ads.

I'm also getting a free download for Super Mario bros. Deluxe for creating a Nintendo ID. Nintendo is really pushing this new update lol. Two free games, I'll take it!

And if you use the Pokémonbank trial before it ends you can also get a free Celebi. Plus I've also convinced my self to buy Fire Emblem: Awakening. Watched a couple of extra vids and it does look like a great game. 

What good games can we expect for next year? Ninteno released so many good games this year; Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, Fire Emblem: Awakening, Pokémon X&Y, The Legend of Zelda: a Link between Worlds and Animal Crossing: New Leaf. Also a port of Donkey Kong Country Returns and Mario & Luigi Dream Team. Although that game doesn't seem like my cup of tea.
