Best looking game on NextGen right now is Killzone SF - You can't be best looking at anything if you run at low Res - NATIVE 1080p is the way to go especially as an Exclusive on a much more powerful hardware.
Ryse is maybe the best looking 900p Game on consoles but there probably the PS4 Version of Battlefield 4 is more impressive especially as a Multiplat.


I can't speak for killzone yet since I haven't picked it up, (I will soon) but ryse doesn't have a bad frame rate to my eyes. Like they said it stays between 26-28 fps and that's good enough for me. But you didn't read very carefully did you. I said it's the best looking console game I have seen. I also never said anything about knowing better than digital foundry. For me frame rate issues means that the game skips and stutters and hits really low frame rates. I said frame rate issues, not that it had super high frame rates. 

Please read again and don't put words in my mouth. I was simply correcting the bullshit others said in this thread. 

It's also sad that you immediately attack me as if I am a Microsoft fanboy without a clue that I'm a fan of both play station and xbox. Is this what gamers have become? Angry, snappy gamers that can't allow someone to compliment a game they enjoyed?

Easily the best looking 8th gen game to date, but the gameplay looks atrocious.

13x more powerful does not equal 13x as good looking. Hell, it doesn't even necessarily equal 2x. Diminishing returns and whatnot.

Facial animations are good... gameplay/combat animations are shameful... BTW most great facial animations are cutscenes.

You have TLoU and Uncharted in your signature and you're telling him to go watch a movie if pretty graphics is all he wants? Should take your own advice. 

You seem to miss that TLOU and Uncharted are actually acclaimed titles. Ryse on the other hand, is not. Obviously I don't give a shit about your opinion on those games because for all we know it could be a utter lie. So just look up some summaries on metacritic or take a look at some past awards regarding those two games you just mentioned.


I also have a Helghast in my signature to reflect Killzone 2. Killzone Shadow Fall on the other hand, which was very pretty graphically, was a shitty game.

 

It's the co-existance of a great game with stunning graphics that are worth praising.

A game playing like shit but looking good is just facepalm worthy. Graphics ALONE cannot carry a game.

They still play like movies. I've played both games. Hence why I mentioned the movie aspect. They aren't even that great of games. TLoU has awful gameplay carried by an alright story and in certain parts overly quick unrealistic A.I.

Explain to me how TLOU plays like a movie.

The combat animations? Every combat game do it better... a lot better... when you parry the shield didn't even touch the enemies and they get back after some delay... if it is not off... I don't know what is.
