Forums - Politics - Canadian Supreme Court rules prostitution laws unconstitutional.

I'm curious what other people around the globe think about this, or if their country has done (or will do) something similar.

As a Canadian living in Ottawa, I am very cool with this.

Doesn't bother me. Again, it's the persons own body and choices. Don't control it. They want to die from smoking for example, so be it.

As a Canadian, it's about bloody time.

Makes sense to me.

I'm against prostitution laws, because I feel that consenting adults should have the freedom to do what they want with their bodies.

works for me. as long as no one is forced into prostitution i don't see why someone couldn't do that as their profession.

it's always struck me as weird that getting payed to have sex is illegal.   ...unless it is being filmed.

Not sure if this be all that helpful...

If they are willing adult (18+) participants I have no issue. So, no pimps or trafficking.
