Would have better luck with this if:

A.) You contacted a mod directly.
B.) You didn't also use this thread to trash a fanbase.

I don't get the trolling here... people need games that attract them to buy a console otherwise why would they? If he was saying PS4 games are all bad (insert random reason like not being native 1080p etc) then I would understand but it seems to not be the case. If this was bannable then no wonder some are complaining.

Also for the "fanboy" thing... I'm sorry but there are fanboys everywhere call them cheerleaders, enthusiasts, chickens (pok pok pok) or any way you want it still means "fanboys". I don't think it's a bad thing to be a fanboy but it's a bad thing when your fanboyism invades threads and derails to no end or when you open bad news threads after bad news threads about a console you have no desire to buy... I still don't get why mods allow this... I think mods should focus on these and look for the context before banning someone. Some people come in threads, stealth troll and when someone is tired of this they call him a name like "fanboy" and that person gets banned lol this is ridiculous...

Take the two posts Carl cited in this thread. If someone replaced "PS4" with "Wii U" and those PS4 games with Wii U games and made that post, would you report that person? Likewise, if someone called you an idiot, would you report that person?

If either answer is yes, then you got what you deserved.

some bans are legit... others really aren't. sorta like pass interference penalties in the NFL. you just gotta live with 'em.
I recently got banned for comparing sony fanboys to.. well, no need to spell out the insult, but it wasn't exactly the right thing to say. fun? sure, satisfying?.. definitely. Ban worthy?... without a doubt.

but as far as Wanderlei getting modded for that comment above, not really necessary in my opinion... there are no personally directed attacks in there on other users, and if having a stong, negative opinion about a company's products is trolling, then this site should shut down these forums all together. I mean honestly, how many overtly negative, entirely opinionted, and contemptuous threads has the X1 been the recipient of over the past 8 months.

at the moment, he doesn't like the PS4 and doesn't see any games that interest him... so, Mr. Khan, if nothing on the console interests him, that would mean there's no games worth playing... for him. not trolling my man. just a strong opinion.
