First party is definitely a major reason why Microsoft didn't hold onto the lead over Sony. That and the Kinect fanfare wore off after two years.

yeah, although they're kinda working on that, so hopefully the Xbone's fate won't end up the same way.

I diagree Seece. The games arent there. I now people will pick up this post and run whatever they want with it. But like the launch games on The one or not, it is being talked abut that The One has more games. People are spending less time on PS4 at the moment in circles I know. And we never have PS4 parties. The Ps4 friends come over and play Killer Instinct tournies and race on Forza 5.

By no means is this gen over. It also wont just be a games machine thats the winner in 5 years. Theres more to this gen than games.

Its crazy that PS3 can and probably will outsell the WIi in the end. 360 will also come very close. Everything will be above 90M.

Next gen will be smaller due to Nintendo losing 75-85 million customers. HD twins install base will stagnate, possibly grow a little but it wont be 50/50 between PS4 and Xbone.

Don't count the new gen as won. Although I might all look good now, the gen has only just started for Sony.
I don't think PS3 will overtake Wii. I think Sony can't keep on supporting the PS3 in favor of the PS4 for that to happen.

But if the PS3 keeps selling and passes the Wii that would mean it won though right? I mean no one is going to go back and say the Wii stopped selling. They are just going to look at the numbers and see that the PS3 sold the most IF that were to happen? That would be the truth right? I am asking because I always get confused when people say things like that...just wondering that's all!
