Dragon Age isn't Mass Effect, they proved this when Dragon Age II pretty much said "FUCK YOU" to players who imported their save.

Kill characters in Origins?  Well now they are alive again, because they wanted them to appear in DAII.  There was almost no carryover, 95% of it was in text files.

Starting DAIII with a fresh save and no import will likely not make much of a difference.

I don't remember your second statement in DA2. There were not many characters that carried over, just fleeting appearences and references. Examples?

I think the importing should only be the world you've created not your characters, but in DA2 whether you want it or not, the mage/templar war starts so things don't change much change much. I always thought DA was more about the individual character's story and character interaction in it than the overarching plot of the happenings in Thedas.

Hmm, pie.

As long as it's similar to the first game then I'll buy it.

Feel the same. Beat Origins multiple times, great game.

I know DA:I allows you to change the weapons and armor of your companions but I still hope it's implemented a lot better than in DA:O. Inventory management sucked in that game. I'm pretty happy that you can customize their appearances, though.

Gameplay looks good, from what I've seen. I'm almost completely a Tactical View player who pauses constantly.

So far I've been impressed by much of what has been revealed and shown so far of Dragon Age: Inquisition. From the return of the tactical, overhead camera view, racial choices for the protagonist, and customizable companion armor, to the larger game world, it seems like Bioware has been given much more time and resources to fully realize their vision (something that I think Dragon Age 2 suffered from due to the much shorter development period).

I'm someone who enjoyed both Dragon Age: Origins and Dragon Age 2, and seeing the return of some elements from DA:O, while maintaining a bit of the more responsive combat from DA 2, as well as the voiced protagonist, has already impressed me.

I was one of the idiots that bought Dragon Age 2...I'm not going anywhere near this game, unless it starts pulling out crazy high scores then Ill look into it.

Dragon Age 2 had some of the best characters of the last gen, and the world is amazing. Do not call people idiots because you didn't like the game because, honestly, I could say the same thing for the game on your very name. You wouldn't like that, would you?

OT - this is shaping up the be an amazing game. It seems Bioware is diverting the proper resources for ambient and scenery this time around. I only hope I can transfer my saves from PC if I end up playing on PS4.

Lol a lot of people felt ripped off by Dragon Age 2, its not like I'm the only one and I'm bringing this up out of nowhere, its well known Dragon Age 2 was not well like among its fans.

But Bioware can't keep releasing DA titles on PS360  long term. There has to be a way of transferring game history from last gen to current gen. If not then the PS4bone versions of DA:I will bomb HARD.

Not sure which characters you're talking about. All the characters I killed stayed dead. Did you kill Zevran or something?

Are you female? Cause that would explain the overlook on your logic.

Some of us... actually care about Morrigan and... that other person that is so connected to out DA1 character. These are things that are important in DA3 cause Morrigan is back. I sure want to know about that.

I'll wait for the game to drop to like 20 bucks or rent it.

Let's hope they forgot they made the second one and use the first one as the template for this. Dragon Age must be the series with the most shitty sequel in the entire 7th generation.
If they make one more turd, I think it's best to simply steer clear of the whole series from here on out.

Bioware have really, really gone downhill since they fell under EA's thumb.

To the people who didnt know how the combat will be like :

I've watched this several times. It looks too good to be true.

I am so happy there's quite a few of our members who are interested in Dragon Age.
