So you were just trolling...

Of course he is. Why else would he bring up a completely unrelated topic in a WiiU thread? And then admit he was lying?

Get a grip. I never admitted to be lying. The facts are that the walmart website shows the PS4 in stock in my area in several stores. Is it related to the topic? Nah, probably not. Is it accurate? Probably just as accurate as the Wii U numbers, meaning not at all. Is it funny? Apparently not to you. Was it a lie? No #$#@! way, and I don't appreciate being called a liar for no damned reason. Learn some manners.

You speak about manners, yet you go off-topic, curse and tell him to "get a grip"....

Maybe you should try again? I expect better from someone who claims to be smarter than 80% of all users on VGC.

Yeah, when people call you a liar for no good reason feel free to frown your eyebrows and give a muted tsk if that's what you prefer. I'm not letting people get away with it when they try that shit with me.

The point still stand. If you don't have good manners, don't ask people to have any. You came in here and derailed the thread. Obviously in an attempt to get a rise out of people. That's certainly not good manners.

Now why don't you give us a link from those walmart websites you speak of? What location?

Your point stads and is still a weak, puny point. There's nothing wrong with calling people out who call you a liar when you haven't told a lie.

That said, It was a mistake to bring this up obviously, lesson learned. The worlds thinnest skinned Bananaking even got an opprotunity to report me to the mods for the slightest imaginable little triffle. I am sure everybody is pleased.

If you don't mind, I'd rather not give my location, I guess I could post a screenshot but I really don't feel like opening a photosharing account just for something as trivial and stupid as this has become. Anyway, I picked a random store in New York and set it as my store. It turned out to be the Valley Stream store. Same story there, they report having it in stock as of midnight today, and so does many other stores in that area.

That's not very nice.

Also, If you only checked one store then how do you know a bunch of other stores have it in stock?

Well, it's not very nice to run crying to the mods for the slightest little thing either. Anyway, on walmart.com you can check the stock for a product, and it lets you also see stock for other stores in the area.

How are getting PS4 to show on Walmart? It won't show me.

Also when you say Valley Stream, you talking about Long Island. I live on LI which is why I am curious. Haven't been able to find them in stores.

Sorry, but it is no longer showing in stock for me either. What I did was (after I had checked my local store) I set my store to be the first one that showed up when I changed my local store by just typing in New York and picking the first that showed up. Last night they had several stores that showed it in stock. This morning, not so much. My guess is I was just lucky (or parhaps unlucky seeing as how things turned out) and happened upon either a glitch or just happened to hit the site right as inventory was updated.

Anyway, no matter what happens with PS4 stock it wil be interesting to see what happens to Wii U numbers in the next few weeks. It seems to have gone from virtually no pulse to showing some signs of finally making some waves. I have my own theory on why the Wii U is slow in penetrating the market, but I'll leave that for another thread.

I think it shows them because those are only updated at 8am each morning, so if stock sells out at 9am it will still show in stock until they run another update.

Oh well. Thought I might help a buddy get lucky. Thanks anyways.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

Yeah, well you can't find a Sega Dreamcast anywhere. Thing must be selling like a beast.

Ask stefl1504 for a sig, even if you don't need one.

Bundles for Walmart Canada are selling out as well! (2/4).

Haha, Nintendo does well usually in holidays but the Wii U was selling so bad in the first half of the year that even this was surprising.

Looks like there's some of price cut promotion going on there though, $259.99 for a Wii U (any bundle).

Err .. wait the NSMBU and Zelda bundles are in stock for $259.99. Any Canadians wanting to jump on, that's not a bad deal.

Target's bone-dry on Wii U's as well (online, at least).

It doesn't really mean anything, people on this board were reporting online sell outs for Wii U in November on Target and Gamestop ... all it probably means is retailers are not stocking a lot of Wii U for online allocation.

I do hope this translates into some nice sales. The last time we heard it selling out at Gamestop and Target (about a month ago) didn't seem to mean much other than retailers ordering minimal units.

I think it's probably more likely this. Some people got really excited about that last month and we know Nintendo had a terrible November.

My guess is retailers are not ordering a lot of Wii U inventory from Nintendo having been burned by sluggish sales all year long so what they are ordering is getting priority placement in store locations for the holiday rush rather than online inventory. That would make more sense.

Retail gets priority over online, the last thing you want are shoppers coming into your store on Christmas week and being greeted by empty shelves because you decided to keep units in your warehouse for online.
