This looked very good to me. Can't wait.

I think it also hints at the art direction Nintendo is considering for Zelda U. If so, I want it to not do that. I'd rather have the art direction as seen in the Wii U tech demo.

I predict that the Wii U will sell a total of 18 million units in its lifetime.

This looks amazing! Nintendo NEEDS more games likes this! More variety and not the same type of games everytime.

And are you really criticizing this just on the trailer? May I remind you all the negativity SM3DW received and look at it now. I like the idea behind the game, is just what Nintendo needs with the crappy third party support they have.

haters gonna hate... it's seems like a great game for Dynasty warriors fans out there that also enjoy Zelda, and I know there's a lot of them...Pretty good idea to move some consoles, or at least give gamers another reason to buy it.

Not quite sure what to make of this but it was unexpected so therefore I was surprised. Probably the first Direct to throw in a surprise for me this year so i am not complaining. I will follow it's progress.

Now onto January's Direct where I am expecting a reveal of ALL games coming in 2014... in the west.

I have a feeling that this - like Smash, Soul Caliber and other such titles - is just using the generic Link model.  I expect Zelda U to look very unique.
