So from the 2.3m in waiting list at Gamestop close to 500k already received the consoles... now just more 1.8m.

Just how much marketshare does Gamestop have? If they have sold 500K out of all the PS4's sold in the US!!

Did PS4 outsell XBO 4:1 in the US. Nope. So this news is complete and utter BS.

"Just 1.8m". lol.   Which woouldn't happen before next summer.  Gamestop USA isnt getting 1.8m PS4's in the next 5 months.  No chance.  They are only producing 5m this FY for the whole world, of which over 2.5m to 3.0m have alresdy shipped

Its nonsense.  The pre-orders will have, or will be, going elsewhere.

 

No one is saying those people will stay on Gamestop's waiting list forever. It's just an indication of the demand these consoles have at the moment, nothing more!

Maybe if Sony had the stock!

Have there been reports than there is a lot of stock? All we hear is there is no to little stock!

You can believe that... the truth was that Sony didn't expect that demmand... the shipment will be way over 5 million at March... they are producing 1.2m units per month... 3.6m just in Jan/Feb/Mar plus what they shippped this quarter.

The article doesn't say it's only for Gamestop USA though. Also I'm pretty sure that they'll produce more than 5 mil till the end of march, I mean they've already produced more than half of that.

They probably have, whos gonna be arsed to ring gamestop to be asked to be removed from there notify list. 


correct me if i'm wrong but when you pre-order at gamestop don't you have to put money down?   ...i'd contact gamestop to get my money back or at least transfer it to buy some games.
