It's neither. PSOne = XboxOne. Thus, the PS4 is in fact 3 generations ahead. It is next next next gen. It doesn't need CD's because it can play music from actual clouds.
Seeing as how DooM is the best game ever I think that logo just needs to go on every thread.
Motion control is last gen, so PS4 is clearly post-modern minimalist, just like its design.
