Xbone has Game of the Generation Titanfall, thus it cannot be doomed.

Implying EA is even capable of making a GOTY

EA does own my favorite game studio (Bioware).  Which every time Bioware makes a game, it generally is my personal game of the year (excluding DA2)

EA isn't making it, Respawn is.

Of course, the possibility exists for EA to infect and ruin Respawn as they have done to DICE, but its an AIDS like virus that takes years to come to fruition. By that time both Xbone and PS4 owners should have a nice Titanfall game or two to enjoy.

Please, destiny it's also on old gen systems and they are going to be very cheap. People won't buy a PS4 to play destiny. It's just delusional to bring up destiny as an argument to counter titanfall and halo5. It makes PS4 look worse, like it needs to put its hopes on a multi-multi-platform title.

Also all those game you mentioned are not going to be big seller and you know it. They may be good or bad, but they won't be commercially huge.

Titanfall will also be on an old gen system. Should we now go ahead and say no one will buy an X1 to play Titanfall since they can play it on 360?

You're missing the point. All multiplatform games, regardless of whether they have a last gen version or not, will be more likely to sell on and move PS4s than X1s. Right now the burden is on the X1 to provide top-shelf exclusives because Battlefield 4, Watch Dogs, Destiny, and The Witcher 3 will be cheaper overall to purchase on the PS4. It's the difference between spending $640 or $740. If the PS4 continues to be the more popular between the two people will be more likely to pick it up simply because they'll see it as a safer bet, as I said. It's also about marketing and appealing to a typical demographic. Tell me, which platform do you think Kingdom Hearts 3 and Final Fantasy 15 will sell more on? If certain early indications are true, the PlayStation 4 by a landslide.

No, I don't know that those games will not be big sellers and neither do you. You also don't know just how well Titanfall or Halo 5 will ultimately do. You're hoping they do amazing numbers. You think they're a sure thing? A lot of people thought the same about Forza 5. Hell, plenty of people thought the same thing about the X1's launch lineup being "The Strongest Launch Lineup Ever". We've seen the results. Nothing is ever certain. Especially not in the gaming industry where what's hot today can stay hot for years, suddenly die tomorrow, or both. What happens if both Infamous and The Order come out and they are huge commercial successes? No one thought Call of Duty was going to end up being that huge. It took them four games before that franchise became the success it is today. You think that neither game has enough hype to where if they release and are amazing they won't sell very well and move systems?

You also have to look at the point I was making about how full the PlayStation 4's lineup is going to be over the next 12 months. It's not just about having a few bombshell games. A large roster of solid titles can go further than just a couple hit names. Like I also said, there are games yet to be announced releasing this year for both platforms and don't count out Indie titles. Journey seriously impressed people to the point where Sony went as far as creating a retail version of the game. Sony doesn't need to do any hoping right now. Microsoft does. They need to hope that Sony is not able to get any exclusive big commercial successes out the door. Because if they do, then what?

xone will be fine, I see no reason why it would be first this gen but I don't see it utterly failing either.

does halo still have the pull it once had? halo 4 sold worse than 3 and reach. part 4 barely sold more than 2 and the 360 had well over double the user base compared to the original xbox....4 was consider the worse of the bunch(not graphics wise).

selling more than the ps4 in the us once halo 5 launches will be difficult,if it happens it will be for 2-3 weeks at most and barely do it. and might not if sony is realeasing a big title itself??? a santa monic/naughty dog game around the same time could spoil that chance for xbox

You are wrong in so many ways I don´t know why I even bother to answer.

1- It did sell better in the time frame than both 3 and reach.

2- Purists were butt hurt with the new mechanics. MP is a hell of a fun.

3- User base is not a factor when facing franchises  like COD, Battlefield, AC etc...

4- History and Narative wise is just as good, or bad, or meh, as previous games.

5- Neither Uncharted 1, 2 or 3, or any God Of War on PS3 sold more than any main Halo games on the 360.

You can have your opinion and make a prediction, however they have to be suported by facts. Things can change, of corse.

PS4 will have a higher user base, but can that realy affect XOne exclusives? I don´t think so.

Even the Wii U is outselling Xbone.

Whilst I don't think it will drop to the levels the Wii U did, I do think it won't be too far off that mark. I'm expecting 25-50% better sales on average than what the Wii U did this year.

It's not going to be doomed by any means but I don't think it will come close to what the 360 did.

Both PS4 and XBOne will beat Wii launch and 1st Xmas (PS4 already did, XBOne on the way to do it too). Wii is d0m3d and it always was. PS4 and XBOne are even more d0m3d. Pure logic, can't argue with it.
