Xbone has Game of the Generation Titanfall, thus it cannot be doomed.

It's too early to say it's doomed, but it's certainly not selling as well as MS thought, as evidenced by all the unsold stock.

Implying EA is even capable of making a GOTY

LOL will be hard pressed to be game of 2014...Funny how people are now clinging to titanfall like it is a savior of all gaming and consoles...It will have a minimal impact.

Not the savior of gaming but the savior of early X1 sales. Just imagine if it were multiplat or even PS4 exclusive^^

It wont do much for x1 sales after a week or 2 max.

COD sold 360's because Microsoft's campaigns with the 360 made people think it was an Xbox 360 exclusive. You wont believe how many people I've met who thought COD was only on the 360 until they were told different.

The generation isn't over yet. You are correct that they kept the first iteration of that gem franchise from Sony though. 

You also have to take into account the already sold consoles in anticipation for the title and sold consoles across the year because of the exclusive.

But I agree, it won't  give the X1 a massive boost on release. But I do think the X1 sales right now would look different if it weren't for Titanfall.

EA might not be out for a humanitarian of the year award but they know which games we want and they'll publish them to make profit. After the first Titanfall sells well the next game will be multiplat. We could be looking at GOTY already.
