PS4 80-90 mil, XB1 65-75 mil

Pc master race confirmed? Just kidding but how will games get worse over time? I though with each new generation, games get better looking, not worse...Look at launch 360/ps3 games and compare them to games like The last of Us

For me a casual gamers is a person who play rarely games, some one could buy only 2 games a year but play them everyday. Many peoples buy a console only for Fifa or COD why do you think those peoples will stop buying Fifa and COD. |
I dont think they will stop doing that. But it doesnt mean they will buy a new console to do it. Did you know that until last year i think, FIFA still came out yearly on the PS2?
Agreed. Maybe not fail, but all will suffer big declines from last gen. The economy is in much worse shape, the graphic wow factor isn't the same as it used to be, and one by one developers seem to be ruining their big franchises by overproducing games and recycling the same formlua until people get sick of them. More and more of the big names are also either merging or going out of business, and this is only going to get worse in a worsened economy coupled with skyrocketing development costs in a desperate attempt to appease the graphic obsessed hardcore in order to keep the franchises relevent.
Nintendo has decided to return to its more hardcore niche Gamecube style of games which has alienated most of the Wii fanbase.
Xbone is way too expensive, will come with few worthwhile exclusives, and will be largely irrelivant outside the US.
The PS4 is selling largely on hype and brand name at the moment. All you have to do is look at the current PS4 lineup for evidence of that. Once that wears out, the sales will plummet unless Sony can manage to capture lightning in a bottle with an unexpected breakout game similar to what Monster Hunter did for PSP. But they can only sell off hype and old worn out franchises like Battlefield and COD for so long..
Sales are going to be something like:
PS4: 50-60 million
Xbone: 30-40 million
Wii U: 15-40 million
''Hadouken!''
The recent NPD had several ps4 versions of games outselling ps3 versions, so obviously people are willing to move on.
Tablets and smart phones will have an impact on the market but much more the handhelds than the home consoles. 3ds and psvita combined probably wont even hit the ds sales and that leaves out the 80 million psps.
The wii u is having a hard time but might pick up as a second console to many of the ps4 and xb one buyers. In addition I think the 3 combined will be down when the losses from the wii u cant be countered by gains by the other 2.
Total console sales might be less in several developed markets but those losses will be more than offset by gains in the emerging markets.
Thats worng wii u will be the leader with 3DS in next year like the ohter years ago
Zelda - Breath of the Wild for Nintendo Switch.... Incredable!!!

Hard to argue with that. No, literally.
I gotta come back to this one later. its laughable what people are saying.
PS4 will sell more than PS3 in less time cause tablets and cellphones have taken a huge chunk of the market??? What? That doesn't even make sense at all. Less sales would yes but not higher sales.
People actually think first week sales are going to stay that way beyond the first month? wow.....
I doubt PS4 will ever push the same numbers as PS3 simply because of the pay to play scheme Sony has going. Yes the die hards wont have issues but those people couldn't give the Vita decent numbers so how can they impact PS4 that much when they couldn't Vita and these people buy anything Sony. Just not going to happen
My guess is Nintendo in first with 100m. they have the games and the price
X1 in close 2nd because its more than just a graphical upgrade console and people are use to how MS does business plus they have the games atm too
Sony last with 40-60m sold. Charging scheme and lack of innovation/lack of games will hurt sales. Sony's primary group is 13-24 and that group depends on their parents for most of their purchases.
