Weak still trumps anemic though.

Make no mistake, X will get me to buy a Wii U. But this is the first Nintendo console outside the Virtual Boy which I am not remotely excited about.

Sad to say, but I think 2013 might have been the peak of the 3DS in terms of games because the 2014 releases don't excite me as much. Hopefully Nintendo comes out swinging with some surprises that'll change my mind.

Loving my Wii U and my growing game library. I have NSMBU, NSLU, Zombi U, Lego City Undercover and Nintendoland. Just Picked up Super Mario 3D World and The Windwaker. Still need to get Wonderful 101 and Pikmin 3. Looking Forward to Mario Kart and eventually Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze (Satisfied my DK fix with Returns on the 3DS). X and Bayonetta 2 look interesting, but I really need to see more. Never played Bayonetta, X looks cool. Looking forward for more announcements for 2014 (Zelda U for the holidays?).

Unfortunately for 3DS I'll probably only go for Super Smash Bros and Mario Golf.

SMT x Fire Emblem and Yarn Yoshi aren't confirmed for 2014.

Are you referring to Brawl's story mode? Otherwise, it's not really a "beat em up." They're fighting games.

Maybe we'll get localizations of Monster Hunter 4 and Dragon Quest VII remake to make up for it. ;) 

Fighting game and Beat em Up are the same thing to me.

I enjoy "brawlers" such as Streets of Rage and Double Dragon (though there's not really been much in the way of good ones lately).

I struggle with fighting games though as I have dyspraxia and it means I find the control schemes for all the moves completely overwhelming. It's the reason I don't really enjoy games like Street Fighter either.
