Forums - Gaming - Impressed by the PS4... Blown away by the X1

So your selling point of the console are facebook and other external applications that have little to no beaing on your experience in actual games.

Do you guys not have a smartphone or tablet to check out VGC and facebook? o.O

My vita is downstairs normally when I come home, check it out on that while having a tea until I come across a thread that has a 50mb gif in someones sig, then the vita turns off and catchs fire... I literally hate everyone who does that ever! You are killing my Vitas heart!

Why not check me out on youtube and help me on the way to 2k subs over at www.youtube.com/stormcloudlive

Minus the ability to read motion better. I can see the PS4 eventually implementing alot of the features that you have described; the ability to play games while, skyping, checking Facebook, improved voice commands, etc. Sony chose to have a more stable system/gameplay over implementing non gaming features and will eventually catch up through the new year.

" Rebellion Against Tyrants Is Obedience To God"

I bought XBOne for its exclusives (DR3 and F5). Anything that's not exclusive is going to look better on my 3 year old PC with dual 5870s. A PS4 is at best equal to one 5870, and my desktop monitor is far better than a 1080p TV (30" 2560 @ 2 feet vs 46" 1080p @ 8 feet). So I don't give 2 shitz if the PS4 looks a bit better than XBOne. When PS4 has an exclusive I want to play - I'll buy one. Like TLOU for PS3 - but it takes 1-2 years longer for Sony to release killer exclusives vs MSFT.

The "other" features of the 360 always dominated the PS3, and the XBOne kills the 360. Xbox fitness is the perfect example. You get P90x and Insanity for FREE! I love all the movie and TV show apps and the integrated search functions - no need foe cable anymore except for live sports. But the camera on the Kinect is a bit shakey. I cant select anything with it!

Reading more of your post it seems like you never touched a ps4.. Seeing as you speak of upload studio or whatever as if its a revolution that the ps4 cannot do....... And seeing as you say u cannot cross game chat on the ps4? Lol FAKE

He has been exposed!

Yeah, but aren't you leaving out PS4's video capabilities?

Before the PS3 everyone was nice to me :(

I don't think you've even seen a PS4 in real life, let alone played one. The least you could've done was went to the game section of a retail store and used their demo PS4 to get some accurate information.

I am the Playstation Avenger.

Just re-read this again, and oh man it's amazing how viral this sounds. This literally reads like an advertisement

Just to throw something out there, during the ps3 launch Microsoft had reps posting on forums.. That's all

lol... let the butthurting begin...

(and the various vitriol from people who can't read very well... case in point... I never said I liked the X1 version of BF4 better, I said the opposite. If I had to choose between the two, PS4 wins because of the graphics... but like I said, and like every single one of you know, graphics don't mean too much)

The Snap feature is awesome, play your game while checking facebook, or Vgchartz at the same time, or video chat with your friend while both playing... the same game, or something different.

I really don't understand this, maybe cause I've been able to do that since windows 3.1 and have always preferred full screen gaming instead. I switched to consoles to get away from the multi tasking distractions. Maybe it's just me, I'm not that interested in talking to friends while playing (unless they're in the room ofcourse). I usually ignore the message received notification, will get back to you after I finish the chapter or race.

The live streaming feature is nice to check out other games, and random drunk people, but gaming is the nr 1 purpose.
