Forums - Gaming - Bad sections in great/favorite games...

Sometimes we reach a part of the game where it was a chore to finish or just plain awful which discouraged us from continuing playing the game. Also, the level might not be on par in terms of quality with the other levels, so it sticks out like a sore thumb and keeps it away from being a flawless experience.

So which levels did you not enjoy from your favorite games or generally considered great games?

--------------

Batman Arkham Asylum: Killer Croc section

Dragon Age Origins: The Fade

Kingdom Hearts: Little mermaid levels

Persona 4: The first three hours; the story is nice, but it's too damn boring waiting three hours before you get to actually fight.

Red Dead Redemption: The first few levels where you're doing farm work.

Uncharted 3: Desert and drugged sequence

Water Levels... Every game... WATER LEVELS

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

MGS2 ... the plant section (ie playing with Raiden over Snake).

Uncharted GA. The final part with swiping the bosses with the touch screen. Like wtf on crushing!?!?! UIggghhh!!!!!

Uncharted 3 ... that part in the desert walking aimlessly annoyed me.

God of War 3 ... while fighting Zeus and it becomes crazy as if Kratos was on LSD or some good Greek ish towards the end.

Playstation = The Beast from the East

Sony + Nintendo = WIN! PS3 + PSV + PS4 + Wii U + 3DS

Bioshock Infinite: Fighting the ghosts of Lady Comstock while a hundred infinitely respawning zombies get in your way. Bosses that spawn minions should be banned.

Zelda Skyward Sword: The pumpkin balancing minigame. Thank fuck it's optional.

Twilight Princess: The painfully boring first hour.

Ocarina of Time: The fucking water temple.

Metroid Prime 2: Boost Ball boss, Spider ball boss.

Final Marathon in GTA V

That was indeed quite a bad part. Should have summoned Luigi.

As mentioned Water levels. Love 2D Mario games but water level annoy me.

Max Payne: Those annoyning nightmare levels where you walk on thin line. Why?

God of War 1: The spikes platforming in Hades. Who the f$%# play tested that?

I'll update if i think of more. I quite enjoyed the slow starting of Red Dead and desert in Uncharted 3.

So true. Wth were they thinking?!

The water temple is pretty awesome on the 3ds now that you can quickly change your boots. It has very creative design that is often overshadowed by its frustration.

Mass Effect - The Mako

Majora's Mask: Under the well doing that fetch quest for the undead over and over AND OVER! The Phantom Hourglass Temple was less painful.

Mario Kart Wii: Doing all the time trials to unlock stuff.

Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door: Running back and forth from Twilight Town to Creepy Steeple at least three times.

Super Mario 3D World: World 1 and most of World 2

Roller Coaster Tycoon: When your park is set up perfectly to meet the objective but you're a year away, so you only can sweep vomit and make sure no one dies.

The Walking Dead TellTale: The first half of the barn episode. Ugh.

Portal 2: ....actually, nothing. I wasn't happy the entire time, but I was always engaged.
