And the Xbox 1 day one edition is number 12 on the bestseller list from 2013, while the only PS4 console on that list is the Battlefield 4 launch day edition on place 75, behind the PSP, GT5 and the Sim City Limited Edition to name a few, even though for the whole time pre launch the PS4 was handily ahead of the X1 on that list, for a long time even being number 1 and having several launch bundles in the top 100. So excuse me when I take these amazon charts with a huge grain of salt.

Both systems have just launched in less then a month. They're both selling to the "hardcore gamers" as of now. What do you mean general consumer?  You mean a TV/casual crowd?  at $499.99?  Do you have anything to support that claim?

The people that shop at Walmart and Target that buy consoles for their loved ones. Not everybody that buys a console now is hardcore.

It's dumb both ways.  But at least a best seller list is actually sales related.
