Only the US. The truth is it is a lot closer in the US than I excepted. The PS4 is putting up a good fight in the xbone's homeland. Forget Europe, that's totally one sided. No point mentioning Japan.
The UK is interesting however.

So, if you go by the numbers that actually mean anything, the PS4 is ahead on all of them.
A little surprising, I tend to see more PS4 consoles stocked and shipped from the warehouse... Maybe the american locations are a different story.
For me "most wished item" means that less people are already owning the console so it would only be natural that xbox comes before the PS4 in this list ;)

Yeah whenever I'm looking to buy something like say a console. I add everyone to my wish list for easy access. Then I buy one so the other is then left on my wishlist until I get around to deleting it a few weeks later. I wouldn't read too much into this. On any side. Why do people like to set themselves up for so much disappointment.

Do those really mean something when consoles sell tens of millions more in the US?

Tens of millions? Where in the world did you get that number? The PS4 sold ~1.2 million in the US and ~900k everywhere else. Last time I checked, 300k =/= 10's of millions.
Anyways, the thread should renamed to "XBox One most wished for video game item on Amazon *US*". It should also be noted that the wish list rankings are not even close to being representative of Amazon's overall rankings.
