Disgusting. Welcome to next gen.

Bet between Slimbeast and Arius Dion about Wii sales 2009:

If the Wii sells less than 20 million in 2009 (as defined by VGC sales between week ending 3d Jan 2009 to week ending 4th Jan 2010) Slimebeast wins and get to control Arius Dion's sig for 1 month.

This is beyond shady, it's flat out criminal. 2K should give refunds to everyone who bought this game.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

I just don't understand why 2k thought this was a smart move.

Currently own:

  • Ps4

Currently playing: Witcher 3, Walking Dead S1/2, GTA5, Dying Light, Tomb Raider Remaster, MGS Ground Zeros

Screw dat, screw 2K. Luckily, I didnÄt buy the game yet, but I was planning to. I also wanted FIFA, but then I heard EA removed some features for no reason. So I guess no sports games for me this gen!

Good thing Sony is bringing so many Indie titles. It seems like in a few years, you can't trust any big publisher anymore. And I for one do not intend to let me get screwed over in every possible way. Seriously, I'm gonna vote with my wallet. So should you.

Screw this, seriously. Gaming should be all about fun, not about business decisions and advertising optimizations. IF you want to take the fun out of my games, I'm gonna take the money out of your business.

I believe DRM is on every game, and not just on 2k. If you have your Xbox One connected online and you put in a game disc like Ryse for example, the machine will read the disc and then start downloading the installation data from online instead. This can also be the reason why downloading/installing is so slow on Xbox One.

Just my guess. Anyone is welcome to confirm if its true or not.

Don't know about Xbox, but Killzone and BF4 are are installing and running just fine on the PS4 without internet. Battlefield 4 somewhat crashes if you try to boot offline, but it runs fine if you disable the internet connection in the settings.

My PS4 runs offline very often, so I notice stuff llike that. Don't have an Xbox One though...

Sony make themselves look better than Microsoft with always online and then screw everyone just the same by allowing this on their system, ROFL.

Sony, like MS, have no control over what another company does with their product. Sony, nor MS, are to blame for 2K's stupidity.

Hmm, pie.

What are you talking about? Of course they do, Sony must approve everything thats published on their consoles, even patches must be approved.

Sorry, I didn't realise MS stopped this patch. You might want to stop saying 'Sony' only.

Sony and MS check to see if the content of the patch breaks their system, not if it changes the game (for better or worse). If 2K want to release a game and add DRM into it, it's up to them. Both MS and Sony have said numerous times, they have no control over 3rd party game and their DRM, this is bad on 2K and if anything makes MS and Sony developed games more appealing because of it.

Hmm, pie.
