Technically nothing is going to "save" the WiiU. Smash and MK8 will sell heaps of consoles but they wont save it, it needs a steady flow of software...Not a first party game every 3 months and some ports that no body cares about.

it won't turn tables but it's a respectable addition to WiiU library?

just look at DK Wii sales, about 6m!!

I'm very much looking forward to the next installment of DK and Mario.  They are some of the only games that me and my fiance can play and have a good time with together.

that game released on a system that was already well established and was selling great for a while, I never understood these comparisons because they made little sense. DKC for WIi sold well because alot of people had Wiis.  A lot of people dont have Wii Us and i dont forsee that changing just to play some more of the same.

More than that, I think people are getting tired of Nintendo fans saying that every first party game or exclusive to come out is going to save the Wii U.  :P

Nintendo must of felt Donkey Kong was bigger because that is what they showed. Or maybe they are just delusional. Or maybe Reggie just likes Donkey Kong.

This is ridiculous. They only showed DK because It's the next big release, not because they think It's bigger than Smash and MK.
