It cracks me up to see the people who once praised Bungie like they were Gods now acting like they're nothing but shit. xD

Fanboyism at its purest form.

They were, when they made good games. (Halo CE, 2, 3)

Reach has been praised quite a lot too. Maybe more divisive because it didn't revolve around Master Chief, but it was played quite a lot online. You can deny it though... xD

I played Halo: Reach faithfully but that doesn't mean it wasn't broken. 343 and Certain Affinity fixed it with their updates, which made it much more bearable.

My point is that, they gave perks to an unknown community to them and left the always supportive base dry.

I'm not ranting like some of these hypocritical "fanboys" are saying but surely I want the community to respond to Bungie's snobbish attitude.

Unknown community?

But Halo is still on Xbox. Destiny does not have a known community.

Destiny does not develop games.

Bungie does not have a game on PS platform to have a community as of now.

There is no Bungie community. There is a "Halo" community that resides on Xbox though

Destiny doesn't have a community yet

Before dropping Halo, everyone that played it faithfully was on Bungie.net. That is a Bungie community, it had Marathon, all Halo game stats and Destiny teased all on the same site.

They were there because of the Halo community

according to the logic you guys seem to be using, i would expect everybody in the Gran Turismo community to buy DriveClub. Or maybe everybody in the Forza community to have bought Project Gotham Racing.

Or maybe you could explain why everybody in the Halo community didnt buy Perfect Dark.

I also Wonder why everybody in the Crash Bandicoot community didn't buy Jak & Daxter

These are different games that make up their own followings

I'm not sure you understand what I was saying. I was reffering to the fact that Bungie HAS a community. Not necessarily everyone jumped ship when they dropped Halo. But yes, a good amount did go straight to HaloWaypoint.

People think they moved it for Titanfall. That's just idiotic. Destiny will sell at least three times as much at Titanfall, probably more.

Sweet, one of my most anticipated games for 2014.

I just wish it released a little earlier, but I can live with that.

Not sure, since every butthurt fanboy is claiming to get Titanfall on PC or Xbox 360.

Well after reading the new Eurogamer article, I'm not so surprised. The scope of this game is much bigger than I originally thought. It's gonna be huge. What sucks is that the article made me so much more pumped for the game and now we found that its coming much later than what we originally were told.

Bungie tried to show Xbox division that they were nothing without them.
MS dropped Titanfall on their heads then gonna stomp them with Halo 5.

Microsoft owes its gaming life to Halo. Without Halo:CE the original Xbox would have done far worse. And without Halo 3 the Xbox 360 wouldn't have made as big a splash.

Since you're excited for Halo 5 I assume you enjoy the series? Has Bungie become an enemy now that it doesn't develop exclusively for Microsoft?

I think you're assuming too much here buddy. Microsoft owes much of their success in gamingindustry to Halo not to Bungie, as 343 showed they're a capable studio.

I didn't like Bungie's attitude earlier this year, when they snobbed Xbox and their fanbase on the platform with their clear change of camp.

I hope they're successful everywhere else.

Didn't 343i make not only the lowest selling halo game of the generation, but the lowest rated one also?

It's the third highest selling Halo game, and will most likely pass Reach to become the second highest one. It is above ODST and Halo Wars in terms of metacritic, ignoring the PC releases which had much lower scores. So no.

Don't believe vgchartz numbers

1. Microsoft has yet to release any halo 4 numbers

2. Halo 4's online activity is virtually dead, dropping faster then halo 3 and reach.

Unless Microsoft begged (with money) Bungie to change the launch date, there's no way Bungie would run from a competition with Titanfall. September just makes more sense from a marketing perspective. You'll have the huge initial launch sales, and then word of mouth will create another sales surge during the holidays because the game is still fairly new.

Besides, Bungie has always been launching their games in the Fall.

So you can believe VGCharts when it goes with your assumption but as soon as someone proves you wrong then VGCharts is innacurrate? Oooook

Destiny is still summer.
