Nintendo is planning some heavy maintenance for its online services next Monday. Between 9 AM PT and 8 PM PT, the Wii U/3DS eShops, Wii Shop Channel, and DSi Shop will be affected. Perhaps Nintendo is gearing up for the 3DS’ upcoming firmware update?

This has to final eShop prep before the major update that will follow later that week. Kinda of excited to see my kids sync their 3DS with their NNIDs.

maybe.... depends if this roll-out is just for eShop purchases and miiverse. But it seems likely that it will mask the FC with your NNID.
