they honestly look the same to me, and that is basically photorealistic
games look so good nowadays you can't really detect minor visual differences

There is another difference Digital Foundry didn't notice, in fact the most stricking difference between the versions:
The X1 and PC version have a blur added on the background objects missing on the PS4 version.
And the PC blur has some strange chromatic artifacts on top of the blur. Some kind of colored blur in fact. I am not sure it was intended in this way by the developers.
I don't know why DF didnt talk about it, because on the image comparison tools, the blur on X1 and PC is easily noticeable even for close objects like lamp post compared to PS4.

Keep telling yourself that. Seeing them in motion is different then on compressed videos or captureds on you rPC, or still screens. I went th my friends house 2 days ago and played BF4 on his x1. When I came home the ps4 version was clerly better looking, the jaggies were immediately noticeable, as wasa the lesser sharp image and detail. The x1 is noticeable missing effects just in the comparisons.
People have 1080P HDTV's for a reason.

Or, logically, buy it on the one you prefer to play racers on and/or the one you'll play against your friends on.
| crissindahouse said: "leaving the PS4 with a respectable, if not spectacular, advantage in the visual stakes." but well, we all heard about the huge development problems for xbox one with all the shitty drivers and problems with the esram so not really a wonder that the multiplat games aren't 100% like the ps4 versions. |
Yes, apart from all the differences the rest looks the same. What kind of conclusion were you expecting?
It's a fun game. I was pleasntly suprised by it, I was sceptical aboout the new studio first.
But sucks there is no pauze >.
This approach is kind of dangerous for the industry...
Games should call people´s attention by its gameplay , not only by its graphics. Graphics alone won´t bring new consumers to the market

And that's to play NFS: Rivals on the Xbox One! Not 720p or 900p BF4!
