There are a lot of great games for the Wii right now. If you don't like Metroid, for example, that's fine. But it's loved by quite a few people. And Zack & Wiki is awesome as well. No More Heroes just came out and that's awesome. The Wii has Mario Party 8, which is a blast also. Saying that the Wii has just SMG, Super Paper Mario and Zelda is silly.

The Wii is selling fantastically because it's the most fun console at the moment.

mario party is the WORST franchise beside fusion frenzy, but the are made by the same company. and zak and wiki, i would put on thesame level as dora the explorer

I don't think i need to prove my point anymore. These super-casual non-games tend to be popular these days. Added with few hardcore titles, it's no wonder Wii has so wide appeal.

Mr. Clark: you can justify it however you want. The Wii does have a great library, and based on the results of the "Wii games to be released in 2008" thread, there is an insane amount of AAA content coming out this year for the Wii that a lot of people are excited for, so the demand is likely to only increase.

Get used to the idea of the Wii dominating console sales. However you want to rationalize it is fine -- whatever makes you feel better.
