Could the 20 million this year prediction still come true?

Are you saying he shouldn't? Because then I would agree with you. |
It's like putting your Christmas tree up in November. Blergh.

I wish! it would need i think around 48mil. So about 1.8-1.9mil average week for the next 5 weeks (not happening!)
but non the less still great!

Well, in 3DS's case it's probably a little excessive cause you're going to need to make about a hundred more of these threads. And one each week for the next couple of weeks
.
But as always I applaud your optimism

Home consoles don't deserve to be compared "equal" - handhelds are far superior.

Le gasp.
Radish! You're so daring and edgy to declare this. How could you?!

I've had quite a lot of wine, I'm in an assertive mood!
Look, people wonder where the creativity went from their games...where the videogaming that they used to love has disappeared to; taken over by bloated development costs and pandering to the biggest audiences. All the big home console releases seem more and more alike with each year- E3 2013 was a clear showing of that. Videogames awards ceremonies often don't even consider handheld games because it's a CONSPIRACY. They don't want people to realise that the true gameplay still exists - the true games are on the handhelds. They don't want people to deviate from the formula that has become ingrained into the system- it's what is making the industry so much money...but it's not what the gamer wants or needs. The relative lack of power and the small screens on handhelds force developers to be creative. The lower development costs allow developers to take more risks, and generally make better and more interesting games. Right now, the 3DS and PSVita are the pinnicle of 8th Generation gaming.
