Forums - Sony - Phase 3 PS4 Stock Seeping into UK GAME Stores Now

Thats his point, if you would have preordered you wouldn't need to fork out ludicrious amounts for shitty bundles which see knock up prices on what can be considered as sub standard games or crappy blurays which you really wouldn't buy on your own.

I had opportunity to buy knack bundle, with about £40 for knack, to which I just went #fuckthat just going to wait till march/april, for better bundles and more ample supply, as well as more software which will actually compell me to buy any of the nextgen consoles.

Its a dick move that neither of the manufacturers released BC but I guess they want to cash in still on the last gen before releasing BC as either an update or additional hardware which makes it possible.

Unless the bundle is inside the box (ala having Knack in the box with the console), under trading law they're not allowed to force add ons onto you I don't think.

But yeah gone now, but 2 weeks ago my local GAME had £550.00 PS4 bundles (a couple of games and Blu-ray movies) advertised at the door.

RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.

I still don't get why these people who are so desperate to get one now, couldn't have just pre ordered one all those months ago.

In all fairness, I think BC would actually be hard, certainly for the PS4. It's a completely different architecture, so I reckon they would have had to shove a Cell chip in there, which still isn't cheap. I'm slighty annoyed about it, but it's not like my PS3 is dead yet, it's just not plugged in at the moment

The bundles do seem really harsh. I got mine on launch with a great bundle, but I've been checking to see if its on stock for my own interest and GAME in particular seem to be awful. They insist you buy £500 bundles with very minimal savings and useless GAMEware stuff thrown in there. But I guess they are just making profit where they can

Correct over here. The MM bundles had tacked-on games. Not only people were paying $650, they also got punished with BF4 as one of the games....

Some anecdotal evidence to throw onto the pile: CEX in Leeds (as of Friday afternoon), had 8 PS4s in, 2 Xbox 1s and 1 Wii U.

However, the PS4s were being sold at £445 (£95 over retail) whereas the Xboxes were going for £485 (£5 under retail).
