I want to talk about the wii-u. I know, there are tons of threads about this. But i need this of my chest.

We all now the obvious. It doesn't sell well, no marketing, etc.

My only question/complaint is :

Why doesn't nintendo release a wii-u with a ''normal'' controller for 250 bucks? I hope that they announce that on 7/9 december.

That's it, i need nothing more. The games are coming/there.

I guess by "normal" you mean not the gamepad.

And ill tell you the reason this isnt a smart idea:
It would limit the number of games which people could play, forcing them to think about buying the gamepad separately, which would reduce the number of people who want to buy the console even more.

I just have to ask; how much time have you spent with the gamepad/the wii u system?

People who suggest this always seem to have very little experience of the controller; it works great. Plus releasing a version without the pad doesn't make sense, given how the menus/system works. Or, for that matter, people buying a game that requires it then realising they need to spend another $100 to play the game.

*FACEPALM*

This doesn´t even make sense. The console idea was built around the gamepad. Without the gamepad the console even can´t work properly.

Because there's already an Xbox 360 on the market.
