I just have to ask; how much time have you spent with the gamepad/the wii u system?
People who suggest this always seem to have very little experience of the controller; it works great. Plus releasing a version without the pad doesn't make sense, given how the menus/system works. Or, for that matter, people buying a game that requires it then realising they need to spend another $100 to play the game.
