an unnamed source has now told trade publication MCV that 150,000 Xbox One units were sold in the UK in the console's first 48 hours of availability, which is "just a few thousand units short of beating the Wii U's total UK sales accrued since its release a year ago this week".

No surprise to see to be honest, the UK has always been more of a Playstation/Xbox dominated territory.

The exact number of PS4s sold in the UK was not revealed, although MCV understands that the figure is not just higher than PSP’s 180k, but significantly so.

Impressive showing, but not really unexpected. I think we all knew in advance that there was huge demand for the console. Though the x1 hasnt done too badly either.
