Wasn't the PS3 more powerful then the Xbox 360? We all see how that turned out. Power isn't everything and one day most will understand this principal. Just enjoy whichever system you have.

The proof is that they are now having to think about it due to the uproar.  They had ZERO intention of incluidng it until the reaction.  The ps4 FAQ said you canyt stream using dlna or play mp3's if you want to play music then we have music unlimited.  Its there, in black and white.  If thye had an intention of including it they would have said, dont worry it scoming soon.  They didnt, they said... we shall consider it for the future.

LMAO no that is not impossible to deny proof of anything they just simply focused on other things for launch.. again you simply have no idea what happened internally at sony.  Ps3 never ahd this at launch either. Things don't always make it for launch.

 

Either way doesn't matter it's coming, now that DRm reversal that was bad.

Not this again, totally different. The 360 had a better gpu, memory, the ps3 only had a better cpu, they were very close. The big issue was the ps3 was hard to develop for thus devs had many issues, it was different architecture.

 

This time the gap is bigger, PS4 has better ram, GPU, and is easy to code for.....Not remotely the same.

That hardly sounds like they had no intention of putting it in the PS4. And even if you do see it as a 180 (despite the fact that support was planned for the future) it is in no way commensurate to what Microsoft tried to do. Notice the lack of outcry for no dlna vs DRM.


come on! thats marketing speak.

and the 180 bit of my posts wasnt serious... it was a bit of a joke.

What a dumb thread. Have to make excuses why you bought an inferior console. Yes, inferior because you obviously believe it's to make this nonsense. First off, it's not 16 times more powerful. Secondly, majority of games on the 360 are 540p-720p. Also 720p games have issues with frame rates, and this is mediocre games. Not the high quality stuff with decent detailed textures. XBONE can't do 60 Frames, 1080p, AA, draw distance, high quality textures, and much more. It just can't. To get 60 frames, and 1080p, the rest suffers. Look at that POS Forza. I say POS because they took a step back to the previous game for a release date. But anyways, the game looks ugly as sin on a big TV.  Sorry, but even Sony's 1.84 TFLOP hardly does the trick, and you expect the XBONE to do that when it's 40% slower? No. Be realistic and go read about topics before you open a stupid thread without any depth on a factual standpoint.

Last gen can do 60 frames and 1080p. But the game would run and look like turd. Believe it or not, the resolution doesn't make things pretty. That is the TEXTURES. The resolution just allows more to be drawn in from the textures provided.

I guess it's in the eye of the beholder because I played forza 4 alot and Forza 5 is vastl superior in the graphics department.
