The PS3 didnt have multiplatform games looking and running better than 360 at launch. On the contrary, the ports had worse resolution and ran worse. It took years until we got exclusives like Uncharted 2, Killzone 2 which showed the power of the ps3. The power difference this gen is very apparent out of the gate and it will only get bigger over the years. I reckon Watch Dogs, Destiny, The Division and most non sports/race multiplats next year to be 720p on Xbone. Currently all xbone games are 720p(save for sports and race games and Ryse 900p) while all PS4 games are 1080p (save for 1), all PS4 games look better than Xbone games. Driveclub vs Forza is not even a comparison lol, have you seen the latest teaser?

the reason why ryse wasnt full hd is becuase crytek used esram for other purposes besides frame buffer, for example, they used it for g buffers, perhaps also for the antialaising and other stuff, so theorically ryse full hd is possible but crytek would have had to sacrifice some graphical details

then again, the console is new ad so are the engines, so i would not be surpised if in the future they release ryse 2 at full hd with all the graphical details that the current game offers, besides, if xbox one supports texture compression then there is a lot space of improvement

With GDDR5 unified ram and a better GPU there is even more room for PS4 to improve. 32 MB od esram isn;t going to mean much, if anything it is another barrier for the systems instructions to go where they need to.

Dont hold your breath.  Thats not a confirmation of anything.

Its against everything kaz wants and i seem to remember they said similar things for years about cross game chat on the ps3...

Erm, that's a confirmation of it coming, not sure how you interpret it as otherwise, unless you're a MS fanboy.

You obviously didn't even read the story, so I'll summarize it here for you. Yoshida is basically saying they concentrate on the gaming portion of the system and get it out first. Then they look into the other areas such as media and streaming support etc. He got caught by surprise on the user feedback and now will be working closely with the developers to get it out ASAP.

They never said they are looking into DLAN, they said they are determining WHEN it is coming not if it will. He has tweeted since that it is indeed coming in an update. There's no multiplayer fees to push here, Sony is just FOLLOWING the devil who have been doing it for years. Whether there's any other subscriptions or not good thing is they're all optional, unlike the Kinect which you have to pay $100 for upfront.

Also, do note that the PS+ provides much more value than the competition.

The difference is that they can do MP3s/dlna.  There's no RAM limitation for those and they already promised someone that the feature was coming.  So, you should stop making stuff up if you want others too.
