Wii- 72 million   3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million   Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million  Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut

For every major review like this, one person does the write-up, but the review score is agreed upon by the entire staff. This is how they do it to ensure credibility and equal treatment

So just because an article is approved for print doesn't mean that is the general feeling at the company. It actually doesn't have anything to do with each other. To say this article represents what IGN think as a whole is 100 percent wrong. And so is what you said.


You're wrong. Read my comment above. IGN has made this clear. Think about it. IGN is the largest video game website; they therefore have responsibilities. Do you REALLY think they would let the score of the 2 major consoles be decided by a SINGLE person? No. It couldn't work this way and it doesn't.

You kind of have a point. It's the same with YouTube gamers. I feel like they are afraid of saying that they prefer the XBox One, because if they do they'd get bashed and disliked for it. That being said the reviews seem plausible so I don't know.

Because if set up properly, they work 95% of the time. So much better than previous Kinect.

IGN are entitled to their opinion. Everyone is.

I disagree. I dont want just a games console anymore. What I have is way to good to trade for a PS4. No contest. I still believe and out and out console wont sell the most this gen. It will be a media device that does.

Raw numbers arent everything. The Cell could do 300% more flops than the Xenon processor. But the best looking games were equal on both platforms give or take. Halo 4/Forza Horizon vs Uncharted 3 and TLOU.
