Arguing about Infamous in a Ryse review... LMAO.
My opinion on Ryse hasn't changed. Solid game worth around $30 that definitely had potential. All that needed work was the gameplay IMO. Sucks we won't see a sequel though. MS should have bought the IP.

That's strange, as my friend said the only things that needs work in the game is the QTE's, story and amount of content. He actually liked the gameplay and atmosphere.

That said, when he pointed out the lack of content, I'd like to point out that he bought the game for $167 due to import costs as X1 hasn't yet released in my country.

I actually liked the story and the amount of content, still not worth $60 imo. And yeah I forgot about the QTE somehow... wish they axed them, or made them like God of War. And damn... that's a lot of money for a game like Ryse.

Yeah and also he spent $1000 on X1 hardware and another $167 on Forza 5. But he is filthy rich.

I told him to wait till X1 release date is announced in India but he didn't wait for long. He's a truly huge Xbox fan, but he bought Ryse expecting it to be some sort of appetizer before God Of War IV comes. It didn't live up to that, but he thinks that it deserves better scores than it got.

Nope, I own a PS4 and Infamous. Infamous does not look nearly as good as Ryse.

I disagree whole hardheartedly Ryse had better local visuals (as is expect from a linear game), but overall i was a lot more impressed by inFamous then Ryse. Each to their own i suppose though ^^

On a side note, I wonder what inFamous would have looked like if it ran at 900p/28-32fps/SMAA 1TX rather than 1080p/30-40fps/SMAA 2TX. I'd much rather the image quality, but it would be interesting none the less.

i still think killzone SF looks better than both those games

I own Shadowfall too and at first I thought Infamous looks better but afther playing more of Shadowfall its a better looking game then Infamous.
